Craft Note
Dhokra is a traditional Indian metal-casting practice distinguished by its lost-wax process. The form is first shaped in wax, encased in a mould, and then cast in molten metal. Because the original wax form is lost during casting, each finished work carries its own variations in line, texture, and surface.

The fine irregularities and tactile detailing are part of the language of Dhokra and reveal the hand behind the work.
